200 Cartas[1] is an independent film, written and directed by Bruno Irizarry, starring Lin-Manuel Miranda as the main character Raúl who travels from New York to Puerto Rico to search for a beautiful woman he'd met who had triggered love at first sight.

Filmed over 17 days in New York and Puerto Rico, the movie grossed an estimated $1 million after its release in June 2013 in New York, its World Premieres Film Festival showing in the Philippines in July 2013 and its premiere in Puerto Rico in September 2013.

The title used for its worldwide release was Looking for María Sánchez.

The cast includes Lin-Manuel Miranda as Raúl, Jaime Camil as Juan, former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres as Yolanda, Monica Steuer as Rebeca, Mayra Matos Pérez as the elusive Maria Sanchez, Victor Alicea as the Husband, Jonathan Louis Ramos as Tito, Marisé Alvarez as Sara, Neville Archambault as Scary Man, Iris Chacón as the Santera, the film's writer and director, Bruno Irizarry as Marcos, Puerto Rican actor Juan Manuel Lebrón as Don Armando, the late Puerto Rican comedian Luis Raúl as Pedro, among others.[2]
