Cheri Knight

Cheri Knight was the singer, songwriter and bass player with the Americana/Alternative Country-Rock band Blood Oranges.[1] When the Blood Oranges disbanded she went solo and released two albums, The Knitter (1995), and The Northeast Kingdom (1997).[2] The Knitter, produced by Eric "Roscoe" Ambel, was released on East Side Digital. The Northeast Kingdom was produced by The Twangtrust (Steve Earle and Ray Kennedy) and was released on E-Squared Records. The musicians appearing on The Northeast Kingdom include Emmylou Harris and Steve Earle as well as Blood Oranges band mates Jimmy Ryan and Mark Spencer.
