Qila Sura Singh is a village in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is located at 30°39'5N 73°44'25E with an altitude of 168 metres (554 feet).[1] During the Sikh Misl period, the village was under administration of the Sukerchakia Misl and most villagers were warriors in the Misl. Before Partition of Punjab Qila Sura Singh was inhabited by Sikhs, mainly of the Jatt and Labana clans who were all either landowners or workers on the land. The village was lead by the Sandhu clan, as they had the vast majority.[2] After partition many of the Jatt Sikhs moved to "New" India to Punjab and what is now Haryana, and left their belongings in Pakistan. Some Labanas moved along with them. Today Qila Sura Singh is inhabited mainly by Muslims.
