Steven Ogg (born November 4, 1973) is a Canadian actor.[1] He is best known for his role as Trevor Philips in the 2013 video game Grand Theft Auto V.[2] He has also appeared in television series such as Better Call Saul, Law & Order, Person of Interest, The Walking Dead, and Westworld.

Early life and career

Ogg was born in Calgary, Alberta.[3] and began his acting career in a film for the National Film Board of Canada, before working in various theater productions. He was focused on pursuing a career in sports, but an injury prevented him from doing so. After moving to New York City, he began acting in television shows such as Law & Order and Third Watch, in addition to some theater work and voice acting. After taking a break from acting to build a house,[4] he was hired by Rockstar Games as the voice and motion capture artist for Trevor Philips in their 2013 video game Grand Theft Auto V.[2] His character was critically acclaimed and he received numerous award nominations as a result.[5][6][7][8] Ogg later reprised his role in the 2016 YouTube short film GTA VR.[9][10] In The Walking Dead season 6 finale, he made his debut as Simon, who is a member of the Saviors. He will be a series regular in season 7.[11] Ogg also had a role in the HBO series Westworld.
